Once upon a time, in the grand kingdom of Virelle, lived a young boy named Elian. He was poor—not by spirit, but by circumstance. After his mother passed away, his stepfather forced him to work as a servant in his own house, cooking, cleaning, and sleeping in the cold attic. Despite the cruelty, Elian remained gentle, brave, and full of dreams.

Far away in the golden castle, lived Prince Adrien—the heir to the throne. Everyone saw his crown, his perfect smile, and his sword—but no one saw his loneliness. Adrien had a secret. While the kingdom expected him to marry a noblewoman, Adrien’s heart beat differently. He longed for someone real, someone who saw him not as a prince, but as a person.

One day, the King declared a grand ball—open to all—for the prince to choose a partner. Elian’s heart skipped. He didn’t want the crown or wealth. But something deep inside him hoped… maybe the prince felt the same emptiness he did.

Elian’s stepfather laughed at the idea of him attending. “A dirty servant boy dancing with royalty? Dream on.” But Elian didn’t give up hope.

As he sat weeping beneath the moon that night, a mysterious man appeared. He wore flowing silver robes and eyes full of starlight.

“I am your heart’s guardian,” he said. “Kindness deserves a chance.”

With a snap of his fingers, Elian’s rags became a deep blue suit stitched with moonlight. His worn shoes turned into glass slippers. “But remember,” the guardian warned, “when midnight strikes, the magic fades.”

Elian entered the ballroom, turning heads. But Prince Adrien’s eyes locked onto him instantly. They danced. They laughed. Adrien felt, for the first time, seen.

“Who are you?” Adrien whispered.

Elian only smiled. “Someone who sees your heart.”

But as the clock struck twelve, Elian pulled away and ran. He left behind one glass slipper, the only clue to who he was.

The next day, Adrien searched the kingdom—not for a nobleman, but for the boy who made him feel alive.

When he arrived at Elian’s house, the stepfather tried to hide him. “No boys live here but my sons.”

But Adrien heard a whisper from the attic. He followed it—and there was Elian, still in dusty clothes, eyes full of truth.

Elian tried on the glass slipper. It fit perfectly.

Adrien took his hand. “I don't care about status. I care about you.”

The kingdom gasped—but the prince didn’t let go. Love, he declared, was not bound by rules.

And so, Elian became the heart of the castle—not as a prince’s possession, but as his equal, his partner.

They ruled with love, honesty, and hope—teaching the kingdom that true magic is being loved exactly as you are.
